Brief description	As a contribution to increased competitiveness the call is aimed at improving the social environment of R&D activities and technological innovation. The number of targeted sectors is eleven. The following activities are supported with non-refundable sources: • international exchange of experiences of researchers; • organisation of conferences, exhibitions and presentations, the sponsoring of publications; • activities aimed at raising the awareness of society concerning the importance of innovation, the dissemination of scientific and technological information and the results of R&D; • participation in processes leading to the establishment and exploitation of connections with international R&D networks and infrastructures; • contribution to the education of the rising generation of research workers in science and technology: • foundation of the policies on scientific research and technological innovation - in both professional and social terms; • the development of young researchers' and students' innovative competences in the framework of open innovation programs; • preparation and performing professional programmes and related events during the time-span of Hungary’s EU presidency.
